Terms of Use
These terms explain the basic rules for using Wills & Estate. They are written for a guided estate planning platform serving Jamaica-focused users and diaspora families.
Guided draft preparation
Wills & Estate provides questionnaire tools, educational prompts, document preparation workflows, payment access, and optional professional review coordination. Generated documents are drafts until reviewed where needed and properly executed under applicable law.
No automatic legal advice
Using the platform does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship and does not replace advice from a lawyer, notary, tax adviser, or other qualified professional. A professional review relationship only begins if separately accepted through the review workflow or an independent engagement.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Review every generated draft carefully before relying on it.
- Seek professional review where your circumstances are complex or uncertain.
- Follow Jamaican signing and witnessing requirements before treating a will as executed.
- Keep your account secure and use the platform only for lawful purposes.
Payments and review services
Paid plans unlock the services described at checkout. Legal Review fees may cover review coordination and professional feedback, but they do not guarantee a particular legal outcome, court acceptance, probate result, or tax treatment.
